Hi, I'm Tyler. I currently serve as the Lead Pastor Designate at Redemption Arcadia here in Phoenix, and I'll officially step into the Lead Pastor role on May 10th, 2026. I've had the privilege of being a part of this church family since December 2016. My ministry is grounded in biblical priority, humility, and service, driven by the deep conviction that "all of life is all for Jesus."
Having endured multiple spinal surgeries in my teens, suffering is an old friend. That history profoundly shaped my pastoral heart—it taught me firsthand that life is short, giving me a deep urgency to make every moment count for my church family and my own.
I grew up knowing about Jesus, but I started following him closely as a result of my third surgery, and he's been patiently growing me ever since! I hope to know more and more every day! "Taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8).
I am also a great lover of poetry, always on the lookout for a new snippet of wisdom. Words carry a lot of weight for me, especially in ministry. When I'm not serving our church community or reading books on leadership and life with God, you can usually find me tracking down great local coffee, playing disc golf, tackling a DIY project, or enjoying a movie in the AC. My absolute greatest joy, though, is sharing life's adventures with my dearest wife, Helayna, with our wonderful kids Eleanor and Roland.

I have served as a pastor for over three decades and have led Redemption Arcadia since February 1, 2012. Along with my wife Jackie (married September 1987) we have two daughters, Shelby and Darby, two sons-in-law, Pastor Zach and Joey, and four grandchildren.
Before ministry, I spent nearly 20 years in retail, restaurant management, and commercial real estate. I holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from GCU, an M.Div. from Fuller Seminary, and a Master’s in Human Communication Theory from ASU. For 27 years I also taught Communication Theory as an adjunct at Grand Canyon University and Paradise Valley Community College.
I love (in no particular order, except the first few) Jesus, Jackie,
my children and grandchildren, running, hiking, reading, and hockey.
Zachary Hines
Executive pastor
I have been apart of Redemption Arcadia since the end of 2019 and became a member in 2021. I accepted a role as a student ministry intern in 2021, commited to a yearslong pastoral residency, and, most recently, the Lord and this church called me into the pastorate in 2024.
Prior to pastoral ministry, I worked as a professional DJ for almost a decade and held various positions in the service industry. I hold a B.S. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Arizona State, a Master of Arts in Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary.
I am married to Shelby and we have two children (one is on the way).
I love Jesus, my wife and kids, theology (systematic & historical) and church history, reading, drinking coffee, watching hockey, tennis, or Formula 1, and birding.
I am honored to serve as the Executive Pastor at Redemption Arcadia.
Trae Fraley
associate pastor
I’m a Phoenix native who married another Phoenix native in 2018. My wife Hannah and I have three kids, and our household runs happily on bacon and cinnamon rolls. I earned my undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and completed graduate studies at Phoenix Seminary. Before entering pastoral ministry, I served as a paramedic, which means I carry a redeemed and morbid sense of humor.
Ben Baer

I moved to Phoenix in 2011, and the Lord brought me to Redemption Arcadia in 2013. Through the faithful ministry of the Word, by God’s Grace, I’ve made a home here, have the most incredible friendships, and met my wonderful wife in 2021. I’ve been blessed to serve in our Kids Ministry since 2017, and was called into lead the ministry in 2023. The next year, my wife and I welcomed home our daughter, and our son the next.
After twenty years in the arts as a performer, educator, and administrator, I’m grateful to spend my week serving our church, community, and families in the same faithful ministry that the Lord has used to guide me.
Courtney Larson
Operations + COMMUNICATIONS Director
Courtney Larson serves as the Operations Director at Redemption Arcadia, overseeing systems, communication, and logistics that support the life of the church. She has over a decade of ministry leadership experience, including roles in Operations and Women’s Ministry, and served three years at a church/school in York, England.
In the marketplace, Courtney spent eight years as the Operations and Member Management Director of Click Pro, a professional association of women photographers. She also works as a documentary photographer and educator.
She is mother to three children and is grateful to serve the church in ways that help people connect and grow in Christ.
Malia Rogers
Womens + prayer director
I moved to Phoenix to attend Grand Canyon University. I found Redemption Arcadia in the fall of 2016 and quickly fell in love with the intentional structure of worship, the sound preaching of the Word, and of course, the people. I began serving as an intern on the worship team, then on the operations team, which led to a part time role on staff and eventually getting to lead our Women’s Ministry and Prayer Ministry.
Throughout my time at Arcadia, I have served in many different roles, on many different teams and in many different seasons. In all of them, I have found these words from the old hymn to be true:
He will hold me fast,
He has and He will until He returns, what a marvelous promise.
I love spicy food, good coffee, a beautiful sunset, and telling a good story. To Him be the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
JT Ruff
Production coordinator
I serve as the Production Coordinator at Redemption Arcadia, helping oversee the technical and production elements that support our gatherings and the life of the church. I’ve been serving and interning at Redemption since 2020 and have been involved in ministry leadership since high school.
I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and have always had a heart for serving the church and helping create environments where people can encounter God and grow in their faith.
Outside of the church, I work as a professional audio producer and songwriter. I’m also happily married and grateful to be part of a church community where I get to use both my technical and creative gifts to serve others.
Andrea Hamilton
Missions coordinator
I started attending Redemption Arcadia in 2018 and joined the Missions Team in November 2020. I love helping our church build relationships with community organizations and connecting members with opportunities to love the marginalized and forgotten. I never imagined working at a church, but being part of the Arcadia staff has become one of my biggest privileges and joys.

Campus Director
I am a husband with twin boys and a crazy past but thanks be to the Lord our God, He has called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light! I am so grateful to be a member of the body of Christ and a part of Redemption Arcadia as well! I love working out, paintball, reading, hot wings and steak!
