What does it mean when we say “We don’t do politics at church”?
Certainly, the Bible has some political content, right? – Those Prophets in the Old Testament would likely agree. And “politics” can surely be read into the situation surrounding the trial and execution of Jesus.
So, is the Bible, or the Gospel, or Jesus completely void of a political nature? No. In fact, we would argue that there are few things – if any – that are more political than the Gospel or Jesus. Or Scripture.
